# Organizations (agencies)

> Group the client workspaces you run under one organization and see them side by side.

An **organization** groups several workspaces — typically an agency and the clients it runs email for. It sits *above* the workspaces: each client workspace keeps its own contacts, campaigns, members, plan and history, and nothing moves when it joins or leaves an organization.

## Create an organization

Open the workspace switcher and choose **Create organization**, or go to **Settings → Organization**. Give it a name; you become its **Owner**. An organization starts empty.

## Add client workspaces

On the organization's **Overview**, choose **Add workspace**:

* **New client workspace** creates a workspace inside the organization. You are its owner, and it starts on the Free plan.
* **Existing workspace** lists the workspaces you belong to that are not in an organization yet. A workspace you own joins at once. For any other, a request goes to that workspace's owner, who accepts or declines it under **Settings → Organization**. A workspace never joins an organization without its owner's say-so.

## Who can see what

| Organization role | In the organization | In every attached workspace |
| - | - | - |
| **Owner** | Everything, including deleting the organization | Acts as an **Administrator** |
| **Admin** | Rename, add and detach workspaces, manage members | Acts as an **Administrator** |
| **Member** | The overview and the member list | Can **view** (like a Viewer) |

Organization members are **not** added to a workspace's own member list and do not count as workspace seats. Their access comes from the organization and ends the moment they leave it or the workspace is detached. Someone who is also a direct member of a workspace keeps the role that workspace gave them there.

Organization access never makes anyone a workspace **Owner**: deleting a workspace, billing, inviting administrators and accepting organization requests stay with the workspace's own owner.

## The overview

One row per workspace with:

* plan and contacts;
* emails sent, unique opens and clicks, open and click rate, with the change against the period before;
* deliverability health: the latest reputation verdict, blocklist hits, the published DMARC policy and the warm-up state;
* a sending-policy review, if one is open (owners and admins only);
* the last campaign and the last scheduled report;
* the share of scored contacts at risk, when [contact scores](/guides/audience-and-campaigns/segments) have been computed.

Choose **Last 30 days**, **Last full week** or **Last full month**; the **Portfolio** cards add the numbers up across workspaces. **Needs attention** keeps only workspaces with something red: suspended, reputation at risk, blocklisted, under sending-policy review or a paused warm-up. Every number is the one the workspace's own dashboard shows.

**Open** switches you into the workspace. You can also switch from the workspace switcher, where workspaces are grouped under their organization.

## Deliverability

The organization's **Deliverability** tab lists every sending domain of every attached workspace in one list, worst first: DNS authentication and drift, DMARC alignment and the published policy, blocklists, reputation with bounce and complaint rates, warm-up, brand mark progress and emails sent, for the last 7, 30 or 90 days. It reads the same data as each workspace's own **Deliverability** page, so the two never disagree, and the overview's deliverability columns are the same numbers rolled up per workspace. **Open** on a row switches you into that workspace's Deliverability page. Every organization member can see it; suspended workspaces are left out. See [All clients at once](/guides/sending-and-workspace/deliverability#all-clients-at-once).

## Detach and delete

* An organization admin can **Detach** a workspace from the overview; the workspace's owner can do the same from **Settings → Organization**. The workspace keeps all of its data.
* Deleting the organization (**Settings → Delete organization**, owners only) detaches every workspace. No workspace data is deleted.

## Spark and MCP

`get_organization_overview` returns the overview for the organization the current workspace belongs to, for members of that organization only.

<Note>
  Organization billing, white-label branding and a cross-client assistant are not part of organizations yet. Each workspace keeps its own plan and billing.
