If your team designs email in InstantCampaign but sends from another platform, you can push a finished template straight into that platform. You don’t need to export and re-upload HTML. The email is sent with its CSS inlined, ready to use.
Template export needs the Pro or Enterprise plan. Only Owners and Admins can connect a platform and push templates.

Connect a platform

Open the section

Go to Settings → Developers → Integrations and find Template export destinations.

Connect

Click Connect on the platform’s card and paste an API key from that platform. It is encrypted and stored securely. For Mailchimp, the data centre is read from the key, for example us1.

Check the card

The card now shows Connected with a masked key and the date it was connected.
To change the key, click Reconnect and paste the new one, which replaces the existing key. To remove a platform, click the delete button on its card.
Create a key in the other platform that can only manage templates or emails, if the platform supports that. It limits what the key could do if it ever leaked.

Get the template approved

Only approved templates, and templates from the built-in library, can be pushed. For others, the button is greyed out with “Only approved templates can be pushed”.

Open Push to ESP

In the email editor, open the toolbar’s Export menu and click Push to ESP (it shows Approved only while the template isn’t approved). You can also use Push to ESP in the template card’s menu on the Templates page.

Pick a platform

The dialog lists all five platforms. Platforms you haven’t connected are marked Not connected. Click a connected one. When it’s done, you’ll see “Pushed to Mailchimp!” (or the platform you chose).
Each push creates a new template on the other platform. It doesn’t update one pushed earlier, so remove old copies there if you push again after editing.

Limits

  • The template must have HTML content.
  • A user can push about five templates a minute.
