When you write a campaign brief in AI Studio, InstantCampaign can prepare the paid ads for it at the same time. You get the email plan and the matching ads on one page, and nothing runs until you approve it. From one brief you get:
  • The email plan: the emails, the recommended audience, send timing and follow-ups, as usual.
  • An ad audience on each platform you pick: built from the list or segment the plan recommends, and synced to Meta or Google Ads. You can also add a 1% lookalike audience on Meta.
  • One generated image: in two shapes, wide (1.91:1) and square (1:1). Google’s display ads need both shapes. Meta uses the wide one.
  • One ad campaign per platform, saved as a draft: the copy comes from your first email (subject line → headline, preview text → description, opening paragraph → main text) and the ad links to the first link in the email.
Nothing spends money and nothing is sent. The ad campaigns are drafts in InstantCampaign and don’t exist on Meta or Google until someone with permission to send campaigns publishes them in Ad Studio. Publishing creates them paused. The first email still waits for Approve on the plan page.

Before you start

  • The Pro or Enterprise plan.
  • Meta and/or Google Ads connected, with an ad account selected. See Connect your ad accounts. Only connected platforms are offered.
  • For Meta: you manage exactly one Facebook Page, or you pick the Page later in Ad Studio. You also need to accept Meta’s Custom Audience terms.
  • Permission to edit campaigns and to manage integrations (owners and administrators have both).

Create ads with a new campaign

  1. Go to AI Studio and fill in the campaign brief.
  2. Under Matching paid ads, turn on Also create matching ads.
  3. Pick the platforms and enter a daily budget for each, in the ad account’s currency.
  4. Pick an objective: Traffic, Awareness, Engagement or Sales.
  5. Optional: turn on the Meta lookalike audience. Keep Generate a matching image on if you want an image. It uses one AI image generation from your monthly allowance, and Google Ads needs it.
  6. Click Generate campaign.
The ads are prepared as soon as the plan is ready. They appear in the Paid ads (paused) card on the plan page.

Add ads to an existing plan

Open the campaign’s plan (Campaigns → your campaign → View plan). If the plan has no ads yet, the Paid ads (paused) card shows the same options. Click Create paused ads.

Review and publish

The Paid ads (paused) card lists:
  • the ad audiences and their sync status (they link to Ads → Audiences),
  • each ad campaign with its platform, status and daily budget (each links to the campaign in Ad Studio),
  • the generated image,
  • every step that didn’t work, and why.
To run an ad, open it in Ad Studio, check it, click Publish (it’s created paused on the platform), then Resume when you’re ready to spend.

When a step fails

Each platform is handled on its own. If Google isn’t connected, the Meta ads are still created. Fix the cause, then click Retry failed steps. Steps that already worked are skipped, so nothing is created twice.

Good to know

  • A recommended list is turned into a segment (“list name (ads)”) because ad audiences sync from segments. A segment that already has exactly that rule is reused.
  • The first sync to the platform starts straight away. Google can take up to 24 hours to match the uploaded people.
  • Budgets are in the ad account’s own currency, and so is the amount shown on the card.
  • Assistants connected over MCP can do the same with the attach_ads_to_campaign tool. The results are the same: drafts that someone has to review.
