The File Manager is your workspace’s image library. Every image you upload, and every AI image you add to a template, is stored here so you can reuse it in any email or landing page. Open it from the sidebar under ContentFile Manager.

Upload images

  • Click Upload and choose one or more images, or
  • Drag and drop images onto the page.
Images go into the folder you’re viewing. Each file can be up to 10 MB, and only image files are accepted. When you upload several files, they’re sent one after another; the page tells you how many succeeded and how many failed.

Organize with folders

The breadcrumb at the top (starting at Home) shows where you are. Click a folder to open it.
1

Create a folder

Click New folder, enter a name (for example “Black Friday”) and click Create. It’s created inside the folder you’re viewing, or at the top level if you’re at Home.
2

Move files into it

Tick the files you want, click Move to…, choose the destination and click Move here.
You can also rename, move or delete a folder from its menu. Moving a folder takes everything inside it along. Folders can be nested up to 8 levels deep, and a workspace can have up to 500 folders. Two folders in the same place can’t share a name (capitals don’t count as different).

Find a file

Type in Search files…. Search looks through the whole library, not only the folder you’re in, so you don’t need to know where a file was filed.

Work with a file

Each file’s menu has:
  • Copy URL: copies the image’s public address, to paste into an email, an HTML block or another tool.
  • Open in new tab and Download
  • Rename, Move to… and Delete
To act on several files at once, tick them (or use the checkbox in the header to select everything on the page), then use Move to… or Delete.

Use images in a template

In the email builder, select an Image block and open the Library tab in its settings, or click Choose from Library. The picker browses the same folders. Click an image and Use Image, or click Upload New to upload into the folder you’re viewing.

Deleting

Deleting an image can’t be undone. Images already used in sent campaigns or published landing pages stop loading for anyone who opens them.
When you delete a folder, its subfolders are deleted too, but its images move up to the parent folder so nothing that’s in use breaks. To delete the images as well, tick Also delete the images inside in the confirmation.

Who can change what

Members can rename, move and delete only the images they uploaded. Owners and admins can manage every image in the workspace. If you select a mix, only the files you’re allowed to change are affected, and the page tells you how many were.

Troubleshooting

Check that each file is an image and under 10 MB. Uploads are rate-limited, so if you upload a very large batch, wait a minute and upload the remaining files again.
Use Search files… from any folder. It searches the whole library.
You can only delete images you uploaded, unless you’re an owner or admin.
